8/307 Outbuilding to Hurstead Farm

II

Outbuilding, probably originally a granary. Late C18. Limestone
coursed rubble. Stone slate front pitch, asbestos sheeting to
rear. Ground foor extensively altered. One blocked opening with
keystone. Gables to north and south ends, and similar gable to
west, all with moulded kneelers, copings and gabled apex finials.
West gable has spherical triangular window. Numerous necked gabled
apex stones from demolished contemporary buildings reset around
farmyard.
