Former farmhouse, now country house. Late C17 with early and late
C19 alterations and additions. Coursed rubble rendered to south-
east front, stone dressings, some brick dressings, wooden lintels
and gabled stone slate roofs with tall, paired end stone stacks,
some rebuilt. L-shaped plan. North-east front of 3 storeys and
attic, 2 windows to C17 section and 2-storey, 1-window early C19
wing to right, 2 gables to C17 range, half-hipped roof to C19 wing.
Scattered 2 and 3-light ovolo-moulded mullioned fenestration with
small pane casements and hoodmoulds to upper floors of C17 wing, 3-
light C20 casement to ground floor. First floor windows have
flush cambered-headed strainer arches. Late C19 gabled projecting
porch to right with plank door. South-east front has 12-pane sash
fenestration. Casement fenestration in brick surrounds to north
wall of rear C19 wing.
Interior. Drawing Room has elegant 1750s pine chimneypiece;
several bar-stop-chamfered beams and circular newel staircase.
