Former Inn, now detached house and butcher's shop. Late C17 with
C19 refenestration and C20 restoration. Coursed rubble with some
dressed stone to quoins. Stone dressings, wooden lintels and
gabled stone slate roof with end stone stacks, that to left
rebuilt. L-shaped plan. Two-storey, 3-window east front.
Windows are 4-pane C19 sashes; large plate glass shop window to
ground floor left with sun blind above. Central doorway with flat
hood and glazed C20 door. North side of rear range up side
passage has ovolo-moulded mullions to upper floor.
Interior. Inglenook fireplace to rear wall of rear range,
circular newel staircase and butt-purlin roof structure to rear
wing.
