Section of former Swan Inn, now house. Late C16 restored in the
C20. Coursed rubble rendered with stone dressings and gabled stone
slate roof with east end brick stack. Rear section of L-shaped
plan with Nos 19 and 21 High Street (q.v.). North front of 2
storeys, 5 bays with cavetto-moulded mullioned fenestration: one
5-light cross-mullion with small leaded pane casements and
hoodmould to ground floor centre, the remainder 2, 3 and 4-light
windows with hoodmoulds and similar casements. Two doorways with
flat hoods on carved brackets: plank doors. Further mullioned
fenestration to west end wall.
Interior. Late C16 stone fireplace in ground floor room to right
with double chamfer; orginal collar beam roof structure with
massive trusses.
