Sopworth Manor, White Leas and Glebe House (formerly listed as Sopworth Manor)

Former Manor House, now 3 separate dwellings. Circa 1700 with
c1840 addition and further extensive additions in the early C20.
Squared and coursed rubble with ashlar dressings to C20 ranges,
ashlar to earlier blocks; stone slate roofs: hipped to 1700
block, gabled to remainder. Irregular L-shaped plan with south
facing 1700 block, 1840 service range to left and C20 additions to
rear. Two storeys and attic, 7-bay south front. Windows are 12-
pane sashes in moulded architraves. Central doorway with bolection
surround and shell hood on carved brackets. Moulded plinth,
platband linking ground floor windows, first floor string course,
second floor platband, coved cornice and 3 hipped dormers. C20
rear wings in Cotswold vernacular style with cross-mullion
fenestration under hoodmoulds within gables. Tall early C20 stone
stacks. Interior: inaccessible.
