Yew Tree Cottage

Detached house. Circa 1700. Coursed rubble rendered with dressed
stone quoins, ashlar dressings to window surrounds and hipped stone
slate roof with 2 ashlar stacks: 1 to west end, the other lateral
to the north front. L-shaped plan with rectangular main block at
right-angles to the road and south- east outshut with corrugated
asbestos roof. South front of 2 storeys, 2 windows. Windows are 2-
light ovolo-moulded mullions with casements, some small pane,
others with 3 panes. Continuous string course to first floor.
East entrance front has early C19 plank door and a further 2-light
mullion. House in poor state of repair at time of resurvey (May
1986).
