Probably C18 and early C19; a rubble retaining wall about 5-6 ft high and about
5 yds long meeting the house at its south-west corner. In one of its quoins
is set a crude relief figure locally known as "The Devil Stone". The garden
walls appear to be C18, brick, partly (to east) on rubble retaining wall, to
churchyard. About 5-6 ft high. Moulded stone coping. Ramped down on north
side. North wall about 30 yds long, east wall about 40 yds and short return
to south about 10 yds long.
