C17 altered and extended. Two storeys and attic rubble house with stone slate
roof. Altered early-mid C19 when lower 2 bay slate roofed wing added. South
front: 2 ranges of tripartite glazing bar sashes (first floor right blind but
painted on), door blocked. Early-mid C19 extension with glazing bar sash. Gable lit attic
attic, half hipped to west, 3 light ovolo mullions retained to east. Interior:
south-west rooms have carved stop chamfer to beam similar to Lower Farmhouse,
Hannington (qv). Attached and forming 'L' plan to west is mid C19 single storey
thatched stable range, part brick and part stone, various openings. One reset
beam dated W M
1686.
