C17 or early C18. Formerly 3 cottages. One and a half storeys, random rubble
with thatched half hipped roof and 2 brick chimneys (one 'T'-section). No 24
has 2 dormers cut into thatch, the left hand a 2-light leaded casement. Wooden
lintels. Three windows on ground floor, two 3-light glazing bar casements
and a 2-light casement. No 20 is single storey (to road) and only one window
(3-light casement) with wood lintel; extension to right for entrance. Bread
oven bulge to left. 'L'-plan extension to rear. Interior: back to back inglenook
fireplaces with 2 bread ovens. In No 24 one truss has a principal sprung from below
first floor.
