Probably mid to late C17. Two and a half storeys, rubble with modern tile
roof. Raised and moulded verges with moulded footstones. 'L' plan wing to
left of 2 bays, converted C20. Two chimneys with moulded capping, the right
hand one with an enormous external stack. Two gabled dormers. Three ranges
of windows, centre of 2 lights, ovolo mullions and drips, relieving arches
over ground floor openings. Central door now a window, its jambs carved with
initials 'J.H.' and 'W.H.', obscured date stone above. The initials probably
refer to members of the Hussey family; the datestone was said to bear the
date 1640. Two labels over cellar openings to right (possibly a later insertion)
To rear: central steep gable with moulded oculus, small gabled stair turret
to right.
Interior: inglenook fire-place. Ovolo moulding to beam with complex stop.
