Dated 1861. Tall, square, 3-storey and basement pavilion with chamfered quoins
and slate hipped roof capped by belvedere with weathervane. C20 brick half
bay to south-east. Three bays, round-headed window with intersecting glazing
and keystones. Central arched door. Large panel takes place of central first
floor window, it reads "Kingsdown Steam Brewery 1861". To rear is a short rubble
chimney and a lower modern boiler house with tall attached chimney shaft, date
1937. Links with fermenting room to south. Rubble base, brick above.
