7/17 No. 43 (Kode House)
House, now offices. c1840-50. Limestone rubble with ashlar stone
facade. Hipped roof with mid C20 tiles and gable stacks. 2
storeys, 3 bays. Central hallway and flanking reception rooms, 2
rooms deep. Left rear 2-storey extension. Doric pilastered
portico, 6-panel door with fanlight over. Lugged window
architraves and bracketed sills. Margin glazed sashes. End
pilasters becoming quoins on first floor above string course.
Paired modillion eaves.
