5/53 Gooch tomb in churchyard, 24m north
of north tower, Church of St. Mark

Chest tomb Portland stone, 1872, low chest with hipped table and
extended kerb. To EMMA BRENT GOOCH, to which has been added in
1915, WILLIAM FREDERICK GOOCH, works manager 1857-1964(but burial
elsewhere) the first Locomotive, Carriage and Wagon Superintendent
and brother of Sir Daniel Gooch. Included for historic interest.
