5/94 6/94 Nos. 30 - 50 consecutive

Terrace of 21 cottages, 1850-60 for Great Western Railway Company,
reputedly by Matthew Digby Wyatt. Coursed limestone rubble with
stone dressings. Slate roofs, asbestos cement to rear. 2 storey,
cottages 30-45 single bay, Nos. 46-50 double units with windows
slightly broken forward. 2 rooms deep with rear lean-to stair.
Chamfered surrounds to doors and windows. Door has pyramid stops
and flush hood label mould. 6-pane casements to ground floor, 4-
pane above. Doors inset on splay. 15-pane. Extensively renovated
c1974. Similar to Nos. 1-23 Taunton Street and 6-24 Bathampton
Street (q.v.).
