6/131 Nos. 31, 31a, 32 and 32a
Two houses, now flats, in terrace. 1841-43 for GWR. Ashlar limestone in
black mortar, coursed rubble to rear wall. Slate roof. Stone
based brick stacks on gable walls. Each house 2-storey 3 bays,
central door and hallway with flanking rooms. C20 lean-to at rear.
C20 15-pane doors up 1 step, in painted chamfered surrounds and
splayed stops. Tripartite 2-pane sashes within chamfered
surrounds. Label moulds over all ground floor openings. Blind
light over doors. No yard walls. Extensively renovated c1974.
