Late C18/early C19 probably refronting of earlier structure. 3 storeys rendered,
bands between storeys moulded cornice and parapet. 9 windows to upper floors,
centre blind (and one on No 33). Recessed sashes, glazing bars intact, block
sills. No 31 has modern neo-georgian shop front on ground floor but retains,
or has had reset, semi-circular radial glazed fanlight and fine C18 carved
leaf decorated brackets to hood over. Modern shop fronts to Nos 33 and 35
with passage between. Part of No 33 nearest street to rear has visible timber
framing on 1st floor and 2nd floor jettied. The rear elevation of Nos 33
and 35 is of 3 storeys, tile hung, with flush framed sash windows the glazing
bars intact.

Nos 27 to 35 (odd) form a group.
