Late C18/early C19. 3 storeys red brick, chamfered stone quoins. Moulded
wood cornice with paired cut brackets. Stone blocking course. 3 windows
to upper floors, recessed sashes, glazing bars intact. On the ground floor
2 former early Cl9 shop fronts have been removed and a modern fascia replaces
the frieze and cornice. The articulating slender engaged Doric columns survive
however, as does the passage door to right of 6 flush panels with rectangular
fanlight (semi-circular and radial glazing bars added). The rear elevation
of 3 windows, centre blind, flush framed sashes with glazing bars and centred
doorway with pedimented hood.

No 41 to 49 (odd) form a group.
