Comer site New Canal qv. Extensive recasingof timber frame. 3 storeys
with early C19 stucco facing of upper floors. Low pitch hipped slate roof,
boxed eaves. 5 windows on upper floors to Catherine Street, flush framed
sashes on 1st floor, 2 false, glazing bars intact. Early to mid C19 shop
window frames flanked by pilasters and pilasters flanking house door. Blind
case inserted in frieze. Return front to New Canal has 2 windows to upper
floors: flush frames sashes, glazing bars intact on 1st floor, 2 rectangular
bays on 1st floor. Shop front on this front with entrance set back under
corner, altered early C20.

Nos 2 to l6 (even) form a group.
