Early to mid C19. Nos 119 to 121. 3 storey red brick pair with hipped slate
roof, flat eaves. 2 windows to each floor, recessed sashes, later glazing,
flat stucco arches. Entrances flanking ground floor, 4 panel doors in narrow
pilaster frames, leaded cornice hoods.
No 123 (public House) comer site with Barnard Streert qv. Corner block of
3 storeys with 2 storey wing linking with Nos 119 and 121. Upper floors red
brick, ground floor stuccoed with banded rustication. Low hipped slate roof
to corner block with flat eaves. Tiled gable end roof to wing. 3 windows
to upper floors of corner block, centre blind, recessed sashes, glazing bars
intact, flat stucco arches. 2 windows to 1st floor of wing recessed sashes,
later glazing. Moulded cornice and frieze over ground floor. 6 windows.
later sashes, and panelled and glazed door. Double panelled and glazed doors
set across cornice. Return front to Barnard Street; 2 windows, the 1st floor
stuccoed and the ground floor as on Gigant Street with 2 windows, panelled
and glazed door.
