Early to mid Cl9, 3 storeys red brick. Low pitch gable end slate roof with
deep projecting moulded cornice, partly returned to sides. 3 windows to upper
floors, recessed sashes, 3 panes wide to centre, 4 to outer ones, flat gauged
brick arches. Ground floor has late C19/early C20 double shop front, heavy
pilasters, deep fascia, dentil cornice.

Nos 40 to 44 (even) form a group.
