West front facing St. Thomas's Square late C18. 3 storey, ashlar stone ground
floor with brick upper part.
Projecting plinth. Flat eaves cornice with coupled brackets.
2 windows and panel at left hand to upper floors, with stone cills and key
blocks. On ground floor - early Cl9 shop front left hand divided into 3 bays
by panelled pilasters with flat scroll brackets, plain frieze and delicate
moulded cornice broken forward over pilasters. Modern door right hand of centre
with panelled reveals and reeded surround, and doorcase of reeded pilasters,
with, reeded necking, small broken cornice and open pediment. Wreath and swag
ornament in tympanum. North front has 1 window.
South front has 2 windows, to upper floors and similar shop window on ground
floor. Interior has good staircase, open string, turned balusters. 1st floor
rooms originally one, panelled dado, good carved cornice.

Nos 25 to 32 (consec) and the Market Hall form a group.
