Stable Block at rear
of Pembroke Arms
SU 0931 5/19A 4.8.51.


Circa 1800. 2 storeys. Red brick, English bond with band above ground
floor and brick modillion eaves cornice. Tiled roof. Gault brick apsed
end facing road ; moulded plinth, 3 ranges of segmental headed windows (panels
on 1st floor) and side piers.
3 arched entrances to former stable yard, modern steel lintel for modern
bar window. Partly brick and rubble. Lower 2 storey stable to north.
