Mid-late C18 apparently with remains of a C16 interior. 2 storeys, red
brick with ½ hipped tiled roof. Coved and moulded wooden eaves cornice.
North-west gable end from which dormered chimney removed has exposed felting.
5 cross glazed sash windows on 1st floor with brick flat arches and stone
keys. Early C19 shop front and doorcase removed and ground floor altered
to 2 plate glass recessed shop fronts with large single fascia, obscuring
plat band.
Interior of left hand shop retains a good moulded cross beam late C16 ceiling
with gilded stucco acanthus leaf pendants (broken) at corners possibly reassembled.
Blocked high arched Tudor fireplace on right hand wall.
