Altered early C18 house. Two storeys. Rendered. Slate roof with coped gables
and end chimneys. Large 2 storey 'L'-plan C20 wing to front left hand side
(Post Office). First floor has a 2 light mullion window over doorcase and
a 3-light mullion window to right; modern shop front on ground floor. Central
door with bracketed C19 hood and door with 2 arched lights. Gable light to
south-east return in moulded reveal.
Double saddle roof, rear range with saddlestone to verge.
