II

Detached cottage. Early C18. English bond brick, tiled roof with
brick stacks. L-plan at right angles to road. Single storey and
attic, 4-window. Central 8-panelled door in hipped roofed porch,
windows are segmental headed casements with cast iron latticing;
to left is round-arched opening to another door. First floor has
hipped dormer in roof to right and tile-hung hipped dormer in roof
to left over door, with casement. Right return has casement to
attic. Wing to rear has same casements with diamond leading.
Interior: axial chamfered beam with ogee stops. Built as a single-
cell cottage with extensions to either side and to rear.
