GV II

Detached cottage. Mid-C19. Flemish bond brick, tiled roof with
gable-end brick stacks. 2-storey, 3-window front. Central planked
door with C20 flat wooden hood on pilasters, either side is one 3-
light cast-iron casement with rubbed brick hood mould and flat
arch. First floor has 3-light cast-iron casements either side of
one 2-light cast-iron casement, with cambered flat arches and hood
moulds in rubbed brick. Right and left returns are windowless,
attached to left is C20 single-storey extension, to right is
garage. Rear has C20 casement to left and cast-iron casement to
right of ground floor, first floor has cast-iron casements.
Interior not inspected. Included for group value with Box Cottage
(q.v.).
