SU 12 NE ODSTOCK LONGFORD PARK

east corner of Estate House, and
gateway


GV II

Wall and attached gateway. Early C19. English bond brick walls
with flat stone coping, limestone ashlar gateway. Walls are
approximately 3 metres high, running for 20 metres between Estate
House (q.v.) and gateway. Gateway has double-chamfered elliptical
arch, butresses either side with offsets and ogee-moulded cornice
above arch, with battlemented parapet. Walls enclose and gateway
leads to the stables and other estate services (q.v.).
