4/156 Manor Cottage

Detached cottage. Mid C18 with late C18 outshut and late C19
extensions to rear. Flemish bond brick on rendered plinth, tiled
roof with brick stacks. L-plan. 2-storey, 2-window front. Late
C19 central gabled porch in stretcher bond, has segmental-arched
opening, inner doorway is blocked. Either side are 3-light
casements under segmental arches. 3-brick plat band. Two 3-light
casements to first floor. Left return has 2-light casement to
ground floor and small casement to first floor and attic, queen
post roof timbers are exposed in gable. Right return has large
external brick stack with dentilled capping, C20 single-storey
extension with tiled roof. To rear is late C19 2-storey extension
with tile-hung left gable and casements.
Interior has chamfered beams with ogee stops.
