House. Early C17, enlarged and remodelled in late C17 and C18. English bond brick to ground floor, ornamental tile-hung first floor, tiled roof and brick stacks. Originally 3-bay C17 timber-framed house, now 5 bays with flanking projecting wings to front. 2-storeys and attic, 5 windows. Central 6-panelled door in gabled porch, either side is one 3-light leaded casement with segmental arch over, single casement to each of narrow wings; front one to left is blocked. 3-brick plat band to first floor, three 3-light
leaded casements and single casements to wings; wings have hipped roofs. Central full dormer is tile-hung with hipped roof and 3-light and casement. Right return has external stack and no windows. Left return has hipped-roofed extensions. Rear has C20 glazed porch to left, three 2-light leaded casements to right on ground floor, right part of first floor is tile-hung with 4-light wooden casement, to left are two 2-light casements. Interior has chamfered beams, planked doors with strap hinges and fireplaces with chamfered timber lintels. Granary (q.v.) attached to left by covered passageway with tiled roof.
