4/160 Granary at Glebe House



Granary. Late C17, altered late C18. Flemish bond brick to ground
floor, with stretcher bond to first floor, pyramidal tiled roof.
Square plan. 2-storey. Garden front has two round-arched
openings, blocked in late C18, with keystones and imposts. 3-brick
plat band to first floor, continues to returns and becomes 2-brick
band to rear. Right return has first floor planked door. Rear
(fronting road) is windowless, with eleven 'S' tie-plates and one
'X' tie-plate. Attached to Glebe House (q.v.) by covered
