7/297 Titchborne Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C18 rebuild of C17 house. English bond brick,
hipped tiled roof, brick stacks. Square plan. 2-storey, 3-window
front. Central planked door with 3-light casement to either side,
all openings are segmental-headed. First floor has two 2-light
casements and one blind window. Stepped brick eaves cornice, 2-
span roof. Left return has two C20 casements to ground floor and
2-light casements to first floor. Right return has planked door in
tiled porch to right, blocked windows to both floors. Attached to
right is single storey outhouse with hipped roof.
Interior has reused deeply chamfered beams, C17 stack, planked
doors.
