Farmhouse. Mid-C17 in two phases, early C19 2-storey rear wing.
Flint and limestone, brick to C19 extension, tiled roofs, hipped to
left, with coped verge to right, ashlar stacks with moulded
capping. L-plan. 2-storey, 3-window front; central door has
square-headed chamfered surround, in C20 porch, single light and
tripartite sash to right, to left is 3-light recessed hollow
chamfer-mullioned window with hoodmould. First floor has 3-light
and 2-light mullioned windows and tripartite sash, roof has two
hipped dormers; ashlar stack on right gable. Right return has 3-
light hollow chamfer-mullioned window with hoodmould to ground
floor and one single light and one 2-light mullioned window to
first floor. To rear of right return is early C19 wing with door
in stone porch to left and 2-light casements to both floors. Rear
of main wing has blocked door to right, 3-light mullioned window
with hoodmould and C19 canted bay to left of ground floor. First
floor has one 3-light mullioned window and one 2-light casement.
To left of rear is C19 wing with 2-light and single casements to
both floors. Attached to left of front is C20 single-storey
extension.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (October 1984), but said
to have chamfered beams, reset C17 panelling on first floor and
reeded ceiling frieze in C19 wing.
