Detached house, now public house. C17 with C19 alterations and
additions. Limestone and flint chequers, with English bond brick
to first floor of front, concrete tiled roof with brick stacks.
Gable end to road. 2-storey, 3-window front; central planked door,
to either side is one 3-light casement and a second planked door to
right; all openings have segmental heads. First floor has three 2-
light casements. One gabled dormer to roof. Left return is gable
to road; one blocked window in attic. Rear has C19 brick lean-to
extensions to ground floor and two 2-light casements to first
floor.
Interior has chamfered beams with ogee stops and an open fireplace
with chamfered lintel on brick jambs. (Unpublished records of
