Detached house. EMA 1663 on tablet over front door, some C18
alterations and early C19 extension to right. English garden wall
bond brick with stone quoins, C19 addition is cob, concrete tiled
roof with brick stacks. 2-storey and attic, 5-window front.
Central 4-panelled door in square-headed chamfered surround, with
datestone over, to right are three 2-light recessed chamfered
mullioned windows, to left is one 2-light mullioned window and one
2-light casement. First floor string course and five 2-light
recessed chamfered mullioned windows. Two C20 dormers to hipped
roof. C19 extension to right has 2-light casements to ground and
first floors. Left return has one 2-light casement to first floor,
attached is C19 lean-to extension. Rear has lean-to extension and
2-light casements to ground floor, first floor has one 2-light
mullioned window and three 2-light casements.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (October 1984), but said
to contain broad chamfered beams, early C18 stairs and two 6-
panelled wainscot doors with butterfly hinges.
