Farmhouse. Late C17. Ashlar limestone with tiled roof. Two
storeys and attic, symmetrical plan with central stair hall and
roof swept down over narrow service passage at rear. Central 4-
panelled door with 3-light overlight, and plate glass sash windows.
Two hipped casement dormers. Gable stack. Added in late C17 a
single storey and attic service wing to rear, stone quoins,
possibly taken from Clarendon Palace (q.v.). Large flush dormer
and tall brick stack. Attached to wing a small extension also with
stone quoins and possibly originally a larder, now converted.
Interior: Stair altered, C17 with block newel. C18 fire surround
to left room.
