3/73 Corner Cottage
II

House, formerly part of The Grange. C18. Flint with brick
dressings, tiled roof. Two storeys, 5 bays. Entrance altered, now
in 2nd bay under pent roof. Panelled early C20 door. C19 paned
casement windows with segmental brick arches. Left bay rebuilt or
refaced late C18-early C19, with brick lacings, Stack between 3rd
and later 4th bay and further stacks to gables. Lean-to attached
to front of 5th bay. Building is linked to a rear block, now The
Grange, C19, slate roof with central arched dormer, not of special
interest.
Interior: chamfered spine beams with ogee stops. Roof of
original left 3 bay build has collars and clasped purlins.
