Cottage. Mid C17. Timber framed on flint footings, thatched roof.
Single storey and attic, 2 bays, lobby entry plan, extended both
ends which have been rebuilt in C20. Framing 3 panels high with
corner braces. Central door, now enclosed in thatched lean-to
porch. Timber casement windows. Roof hipped and drawn down over
extensions.
Interior: Chalk stone stack with brick fireplace and chamfered
timber lintel. Roof has tie beams braced to posts, raking struts,
collars clasping chamfered purlins. Restored 1967 and extended at
rear of right extension to join garage.
