II

Barn. Late C17-early C18. Timber framed and weatherboarded on
flint sills. Corrugated iron roof. Ten bays, with midstreys in
bays 2 and 7 and pitching doors at ends. Interior has tie beam
trusses with straight braces to jowled posts. Queen struts to
collars and diminished principals with clasped purlins. Wall
framing has corner braces, partly replaced with raking braces, and
original ventilator on north side. Roof quarter hipped at ends.
Much reused timber.
