II

Farmhouse. Early-mid C19 incorporating fragments of earlier
building. Buff Flemish brickwork, with tiled roof. Two storeys,
attics and cellars. U-plan, with principal facade to south-west;
of 5 bays. Steeply pitched hipped roof. Central pair of panelled
doors with fanlight over. Twelve-paned sash windows with gauged
brick lintels, those on upper floor also with blind boxes.
Tripartite window to first floor over entrance. Paired modillion
eaves. Two flat roofed dormers with 6-paned single hung sashes.
Stacks to rear wings, and main access through porch in north-east
side. Interior not seen, contains contemporary staircase.
