6/14 Latimer House.


House in street row. Late C18. Limestone ashlar, asbestos cement slate roof.
Two storeys and attic, 3 windows, near symmetrical but all set-off to left. All
replacement sashes in original openings; 6-panel all-glazed door in moulded
architrave and with closed pediment on brackets. Large flat-roofed 6-light
dormer behind parapet flanked by lay-lights. Plinth, mid plat-band, cornice and
blocking, rusticated quoins, coped gables; two C19 brick gable stacks. A
frontage of above average quality for the town.
