Milestone. Dated 1750. Limestone block, partly sunk c750 x 450 x 275 mm with wave-curve top. Incised inscription on north face 'XX /MILES FROM/ SARUM / XCVIII/ FROM/ LONDON/ 1750. This stone lies to the south of the track and about 10 metres from a fence to the north; it is one of a series on a now abandoned route.
