The Little House

GV II

Small house in row. Possible C18, but refenestrated and raised in mid Cl9.
Coursed rubble, roof concealed behind parapet which returns at both ends. Two
storeys, 2 windows; 4-pane sashes. Four-panel door set in reveals, right.
Included mainly for group value: the building steps forward from the adjacent
Library (q.v.) and forms a stop to a row of cottages.
