House, formerly two. Early C19. Coursed and square limestone, large greensand
quoins at left end, Welsh slate roof, brick ridge stack. Property formerly
was one side of a narrow lane, but now forms closure to east side of The
Square. Two storeys, 2+2 windows; left half has 20-pane and 8-pane sashes
flanking C20 aluminium framed door to pent hood, below two half-dormers with
aluminium sashes. Right half has 16-pane at both levels; all windows with
exposed sash boxes and to wooden lintels. The building is important as a
closure to this end of The Square; it adjoins The Manse (q.v.) at the right.
