3/37 New Barn Lodge

GV II

Cottage orne. Early C19. Dressed limestone, hipped thatched roof,
axial brick stack. Single storey, 2 windows. Glazed door to left
with 3-light plain mullioned window to right, verandah to front on
four plain stone columns. Right return has C20 casement. Left
return has square stone bay with 4-light mullioned window. C20
flat-roofed extension to rear. Formerly a lodge of the Wardour
Estate (q.v.).
