6/44 Barn and cowshed at Lower
Bridmore Farm


GV II

L-shaped barn and cowshed. C18. Rubble stone plinth,
weatherboarding on timber-frame, tiled and corrugated iron roof has
half-hip to north and hip to south. 6-bay barn has east aisle, 4-
bay cowshed attached at south-east end. Gabled porch on east side
of barn, stable door and 2-light casement to right. Cowshed has
stable door and C20 open-fronted shelter shed on south side. Both
have tie-beam roofs with raking struts to principals, collars and
curved bracing to jowled main posts. Attached to north gable of
barn is weatherboarded stable.
