(east side)

1/71 Barberry Cottage

GV II

Detached cottage. Early C18, C19 and C20 rear extensions.
Course dressed limestone, Welsh slate roof, formerly thatched,
gable end brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-storey, 3-
window south front. C20 door in ashlar porch to right of centre,
either side is 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned window with
dripstones. First floor has 3-light mullioned window either side
of single light. Coped stone verges. Left return is gable end
to road with 1-light casement to ground floor. Rear has mid-Cl9
stone extension with brick dressings and casements, flat-roofed C20
porch to left.
