(east side), The Ridge

1/90 Ridge Farm

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17 and C19. Dressed limestone, tiled roof, brick
and limestone stacks. L-plan. Two-storey, 3-window front. C19
four-panelled door in gabled porch, 4-light recessed chamfered
mullioned window to right, 3-light to left. First floor has 3-
light, 2-light and 4-light mullioned windows. To left is
projecting C19 wing with casements. Right return has external
stack with offsets. Rear has 2-light mullioned window and 2-light
casements, to right is C19 landing for internal stairs, on cast-
iron posts.
Interior has chamfered beams and open fireplace with cambered
lintel.
