1/151 Old Turnpike Cottage

GV II

Semi-detached cottage. Early C18. Rubble stone, thatched roof
with half-hip to left, coped gable with ashlar stack with moulded
capping to right. One storey and attic, 2 windows. Central 4-
panelled door in stone C19 porch, to left is single recessed
chamfered light, to right is one 2-light recessed chamfered
mullioned window. Attic has 2-light and 3-light casements in brick
and timber-framed eyebrow dormer. Rear has 2-storey C20 extension
with concrete tiled roof.
Interior has open fireplace with renewed timber lintel.
