1/158 Nos 1 and 2 Post Office Cottages

GV II

Semi-detached cottages. Early C18, altered early C19. Rubble
stone and dressed limestone, thatched roof, gable-end brick stacks.
One storey and attic, 3 windows. Central 6-panelled door, 6-pane
sash to either side in horizontal openings. Attic has three small-
paned 2-light casements. Right return is windowless with attached
lean-to post office, rendered with slate roof. Rear has two
planked doors and 2-light and 3-light casements; entrance to No 2
is to rear.
Interior not inspected. C20 lean-to Post Office attached to
right; not of special interest.
