1/172 Folly to rear of Teffont Manor

GV II

Water tower disguised as folly with attached outbuilding. Early
C19. Rubble stone, outbuilding has corrugated asbestos roof.
Five-stage tower has double-chamfered pointed lancets to each
stage, hollow-moulded string course to upper stage, corbel table
and battlemented parapet. Attached to right is single-storey
outbuilding with five chamfered elliptical-arched doorways with
planked doors, five pointed lancets.
Interior not inspected. Built by John Mayne during his building
works of 1820s.
